This ring is a cute accessory to any outfit. It is easy to make; only 5 steps!
To make a twisting wire ring, you will need the following:
– About 5 inches of relatively thick wire, the length depending on how big your finger is
– An object that is as about as big around as your finger (mascara, lip gloss, large pen). CAREFULLY choose this item, as it is what will shape your ring.
– Clear spray acrylic (This is optional, but I suggest doing it unless you want black/green lines on your finger from oxidization)
– Wire cutters
– Pliers
Step 1: Take your wire, and wrap it around the object (I used a pen) once, leaving about one inch of wire on the side you began from.
Step 2: Wrap the wire around again so both ends of wire are in the front.
Step 3: Try the ring on. Maneuver and kink the wire so it fits around your finger comfortably. Then take it off; it should come off easily.
Step 4: Make a loop with the ends of the wires and kink them into the shape of the ring.
Step 5: Once you are happy with the shape and fit of your ring, spray it with the acrylic spray, and let it dry.
